Hi!

I am Elizabeth Morris-Brown, some people know me as Lizzie.  I am an Abilene local. I am a Licensed Funeral Director at Elmwood Funeral Home, Investigator for Child Protective Services and I’m the founder of Abilene’s Women’s Empowerment Conference, that’s held every year in July at the Abilene Convention Center. I also set on several boards in our community. I am married and a mother of two-Jeremy Washington and Kieshawnda Washington. 

 

I have been doing events for over 15 years. I am excited and overjoyed to be the new owner/operator of the Oak Street Arbor. I especially love setting up & decorating for events. It has been one of my dreams to have my own space to expand my business. The joy in this new adventure, will be me helping you create beautiful memories. I am a Certified Event Planner.  I intend to offer full service for private events & will host my own events.
